About the Founders
Owais Farooqui is CEO of Red Ronin Inc. a transmedia intellectual property house. Owais was most recently at Atari Inc where he was SVP Digital Publishing. In his role he managed marketing and business development of Atari’s IP across mobile & social platforms which led to top rankings in Apple’s iTunes store. Prior to Atari Owais was GM North America for King.com, where he managed initiatives surrounding the leading provider of social games’ marketing, strategy and partnerships. He worked to build King into the second largest Facebook game app developer and one of the largest websites in the US. Owais has more than a decade of experience in business development and marketing and is responsible for King.com’s groundbreaking partnerships with NBC, CBS, A&E, Fremantle, Endemol, Yahoo!, and Real Networks, enabling the major media networks to extend interactivity and entertainment to consumers.
Prior to King.com, Owais was Senior Director of Marketing at Knowledge Adventure, the leader in adventure-based 3D virtual worlds for kids, and Senior Director of Marketing at Academy123, which was acquired by Discovery Channel. He has spoken at leading trade and consumer conferences including SXSW Interactive, Casual Connect, NY Games Conference and Digital Media Summit. Owais is also a regular contributor and advisor to the Casual Games Association and can be seen doing a stand-up comedy routine at famous venues like the Laugh Factory.

Aaron Casillas is one of the few accomplished Chief Creative Officers worldwide with over 16 years experience cross platform (mobile, social and console). His work has been critically acclaimed internationally and he has won various awards including recently “best of” back to back years at E3 for his work on Trion’s MMO End of Nations.
Prior to becoming CCO of Red Ronin Games, Aaron worked on a variety of projects in and out of the industry including simulations for the U.S. military. He moved on to Electronic Arts to work on Steven Spielberg’s award winning Medal of Honor series, where his flagship level ‘Pearl Harbor’ on ‘Rising Sun’ gained attention of movie industry leaders. With over 16 million unit sales, Aaron’s work has been seen and experienced globally. At Atari, his mission was to qualitatively increase production values gained 5 out 5 star reviews on titles such as Asteroids Gunner. With his unique mix of background between military simulations, cinematic sensibilities and casual games, Aaron stands at the forefront of mixing casual and core gaming experiences to a brand new audience. His work has always been the bearer of being the flagship paradigm for products across the industry. He has participated in making billions of dollars collectively at gaming giants Electronic Arts and Activision.
When he’s not making games his hobbies include Fine Art, genetic anthropology, the paranormal and U.F.O. investigations.
Aaron earned a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in New Genres from the esteemed University of California Los Angeles.
